Winter 2014-15 Mike Art

Life is hard. Still dealing with the loss of sheila. Anyway, here are two Plutonians. The one was influenced by my recent trip to Chicago to see an important exhibition of Byzantine Art on loan from Athens. Did you know Byzantines invented the fork? Yeah, Constantinople was the most cultured city of all Westerndom, and perhaps the world for a few centuries. That all changed in 1453 A. D. Byzantine scholars luckily transported a lot of great literature to Rome before Mehmed the Conqueror razed the city.

I also include an abstract for now. More to come all season as the Muses and Time allow.

Oh, I have a new Guestbook on the Home Page, but be careful of what you say. Secret Agent Man # 46 is on the job!
